NAGOYA - Japan was edged by China and settled for silver in both the men's and women's artistic gymnastics team finals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday.
Daiki Hashimoto topped the men's vault and horizontal bar as the Tokyo Olympics individual all-around gold medalist from 2021 made a significant contribution to Japan's 253.826 points overall, but China scored 255.095 to prevail. Taiwan won bronze with 239.896.
