Japan defeated China in the men's team table tennis final Thursday at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, clinching its first gold medal in the event since 1966.
The host nation came back from a 2-1 deficit to win three ties to two, with Sora Matsushima sealing the title by beating fellow 19-year-old Wen Ruibo 3-1 in the decisive fifth tie at Sky Hall Toyota.
