NAGOYA - Japan surpassed its Asian Games gold medal record tally of 78 set in Bangkok 60 years ago on Saturday, highlighted by titles in sepaktakraw and debutant padel.
The host nation also grabbed gold in staple sports such as judo and breaking at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, which are set to close on Sunday.
