NAGOYA - Paris Olympic gold medalist Akari Fujinami lost in the women's 57-kilogram wrestling semifinals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Saturday, snapping her roughly nine-year winning streak at 155 matches.
The 22-year-old Fujinami, who had not lost since September 2017, when she was in junior high school, was beaten by North Korea's Son Il Sim at Inae Sports Center in Nagoya but went on to win bronze.
