NAGOYA - Ri Song Gum of North Korea won gold in the 49-kilogram category in women's weightlifting at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Wednesday, her country's first gold at the multi-sport event.
Ri lifted 94 kg in the snatch and 121 kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 215 kg, all three marks setting world records.
