HUZHOU, China - In a cosmetics exhibition hall tucked away in the mountains of eastern China, shelves of creams, lotions and other beauty products offer a glimpse of how dramatically the country's cosmetics market has changed.
"Many Chinese cosmetics brands are superior to foreign brands when it comes to things like texture and fragrance," a staff member said confidently at the facility in Daixi, a town on the outskirts of Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.
