CHIBA, Japan - For office worker Taiyo Kojima, working out at the gym had begun to feel aimless. Then he discovered Hyrox, a fitness race combining running and strength exercises, and suddenly he had something concrete to train for.
"After I started working, I lost my sense of purpose when training at the gym, but Hyrox gave me clear goals -- finishing the race and improving my time," said Kojima, 25, after competing in an event for the first time.
