N. Korea holds drill involving ballistic, cruise missiles, attack drones

BEIJING - North Korea said Monday it has conducted a joint firepower drill involving ballistic and cruise missiles as well as attack drones, according to state-run media, a day after Japan, South Korea and the United States ended a military exercise.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said Saturday the country had detected the launch of multiple ballistic missiles from the Wonsan area on the eastern coast of North Korea toward the Sea of Japan, which traveled around 250 kilometers.
