Voting gets under way in S. Korea to pick new president

Millions are heading to the polls Tuesday in South Korea to choose a successor to former President Park Geun Hye, who was removed from office earlier this year over a corruption and abuse-of-power scandal.Voter turnout as of 3 p.m. was tentatively put at 63.7 percent, nine hours after voting began at the some 13,900 polling stations across the country, the National Election Commission said.
