UNESCO to consider opposing views in world heritage register

UNESCO decided Wednesday to take into account the views of nations concerned in its world heritage registration process when historical and political sensitivities are involved, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.The decision to introduce the new procedure in 2019 was made at an Executive Board meeting of the U.N.
