Former Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra fled the country ahead of Friday's verdict in her trial over a controversial rice subsidy scheme, one of her aides said.The aide said Yingluck fled the country by Thursday and did not disclose her current whereabouts.The Supreme Court issued an arrest warrant for Yingluck after she failed to appear in the morning for the verdict.
