Former Thai PM Yingluck to wrap up defense in rice pledging case

Former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra delivered a closing statement Tuesday at the Supreme Court, where she is expected to insist on her innocence over alleged mishandling of a multibillion dollar rice subsidy scheme."I am ready to deliver a verbal statement and explain to the court that I did not commit any corruption and insist I am innocent," Yingluck told the press before entering the court room.
