TOKYO - International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry said Tuesday the IOC is studying lessons from the decentralized model used at this year's Milan Cortina Winter Games as it considers how future games can balance sustainability with the athlete experience.
"We're learning a lot," Coventry told Kyodo News in Tokyo. "We have a lot of data from the Milan Cortina Games. What worked, what didn't work. Part of that is analyzing, in great detail, the decentralized model."
