NAGOYA - Japan missed out on its first men's basketball gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Sunday, going down 67-57 to South Korea in the final.
A youthful Japan team lacked shooting accuracy in the second half at Aichi International Arena and matched the country's best previous men's basketball finish of silver, achieved in 1951 and 1962.
