The United States on Friday announced Chinese President Xi Jinping will make a three-day state visit to Washington through Sept. 25, with the fate of the countries' fragile one-year trade truce and artificial intelligence among major agenda items.
After meeting Xi at the White House on Thursday, Trump will host a state dinner for the Chinese leader and his wife, with CEOs of U.S. high-tech companies, including Elon Musk of Tesla, Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Sam Altman of OpenAI, Jensen Huang of Nvidia and Tim Cook of Apple, set to attend, according to senior U.S. officials.
