TOKYO - Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi has decided to forgo a planned visit to Indonesia arranged for around Thursday, a source familiar with the matter said.
Koizumi had been exploring the possibility of paying a courtesy call on President Prabowo Subianto and holding talks with Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, but scheduling difficulties made the trip unfeasible, the source said.
