DENVER - Shohei Ohtani drove in three runs with back-to-back home runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers held off the Colorado Rockies 11-5 on Monday.

Ohtani launched his 28th homer of the season to left-center field off Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano (12-6) in the fifth inning.

The left-handed designated hitter added a two-run shot for his 29th homer and finished 4-for-5 at Coors Field.

"It was big that I was able to take advantage of some hittable pitches," Ohtani said.

"The fact that the ball is coming off at a good angle shows I'm taking a good swing. The most important thing is to keep it going," he also said.

Sugano took the loss after allowing seven runs on seven hits, including two home runs, while striking out three over five innings.

In other Major League Baseball action, Seiya Suzuki hit his 22nd home run as the Chicago Cubs secured a 7-5 walk-off win over the Chicago White Sox in extra innings.

Batting second and playing right field, Suzuki went deep in the first to go 1-for-4 with an RBI at Wrigley Field.

Cubs starter Shota Imanaga did not factor in the decision as he surrendered three runs on two hits, including a homer, while fanning 10.

White Sox first baseman Munetaka Murakami, who has hit 28 home runs in his rookie season, went hitless while drawing three walks.
