LOS ANGELES - Shohei Ohtani blasted his 19th home run of the season, leaving him one homer shy of 300 for his Major League Baseball career, as the Los Angeles Dodgers walked off with an 8-7 win against the Colorado Rockies in 11 innings on Monday.

Ohtani launched a two-run shot to left field in the third inning at Dodger Stadium, giving Los Angeles a 2-1 lead.

The 32-year-old later added a two-run single in the fourth to extend the Dodgers' lead and finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs.

The Rockies rallied to tie the game 6-6 in the ninth and took a 7-6 lead in the top of the 10th before the Dodgers made it 7-7 in the home half, setting the stage for Dalton Rushing to deliver a walk-off single in the 11th.

Elsewhere in the majors, Kazuma Okamoto belted his 20th homer, but the Toronto Blue Jays fell to the San Francisco Giants 10-1.

The Japanese slugger hit a solo shot over the left-field fence in the sixth and went 1-for-4 with one RBI at Oracle Park.

Okamoto became the third Japanese player to reach the 20-homer mark in his rookie year, following Ohtani with the Los Angeles Angels in 2018 and Munetaka Murakami with the Chicago White Sox this year.
