Australia coach Ange Postecoglou on Wednesday named his 23 for the crunch World Cup qualifiers against Japan and Thailand, leaving out injured captain Mile Jedinak.Postecoglou trimmed seven from the provisional squad he unveiled last week for the Aug. 31 Japan game at Saitama and the Socceroos' final Group B match, on Sept. 5 at home in Melbourne.The 33-year-old Jedinak has not played for his club Aston Villa since April because of a lingering groin injury.
