Officials from 12 embassies in Japan visit Fukushima school

A delegation of 14 officials from 12 foreign missions in Japan visited Fukushima Prefecture on Tuesday, seeing areas hit by the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant disaster and interacting with local students.The excursion was hosted by Japan's Reconstruction Agency to provide information to other countries on the current state of disaster-hit areas ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.The delegation, which included the ambassadors of Angola and Kuwait, and officials from the embassies of Germany, Russia and Australia, called on Futaba Future School in the town of Hirono.
