“animate KOREA Busan” officially reopened on October 30, 2026, after undergoing its first major relocation and expansion since originally debuting in January 2023. Drawing massive crowds on opening day, the upgraded store is now housed inside Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch—one of the region’s largest tourist-friendly commercial complexes, situated just a three-minute walk from Seomyeon Station on Busan Subway Lines 1 and 2.
Alongside the expanded retail space, “animate Cafe Busan” has also relocated to the exact same floor, featuring a dedicated Gratte (Graphic Latte) counter where visitors can enjoy collaborative drinks and themed menus between shopping sessions. Inside, fans will find a wide array of the latest character merchandise, comic books, art books, photo collections, audio/visual media, and collectible figures. The feature below includes an exclusive first look at the newly redesigned store via on-site photos, reflecting animate’s ongoing commitment to enriching regional fan experiences, enhancing retail presentation, and elevating customer service.
