KYOTO - An exhibition organized by Studio Ghibli, known for works by anime director Hayao Miyazaki, has opened at a museum in Kyoto, focusing on the links between the popular films and Zen philosophy.
The "Zen and Ghibli" exhibition at Kyoto City Kyocera Museum of Art, running from Oct. 3 through Dec. 6, sheds light on elements in Ghibli works that resonate with the Buddhist philosophy, such as the theme of coexistence underlying "Princess Mononoke."
