Episode 1: “Everyone Has Times When Nothing Goes Right, But You Know What I Do in Times Like That? It’s Obvious, I Just Run as Fast as I Can While Screaming My Lungs Out, Aaaaaaargh!”
Synopsis
“Alright! Time for us to kick someone out, too!”
Rein works for the adventurer guild Fang of the Royal Beast as an Enhancement Enchanter, capable of bestowing “Enhancement Points” onto weapons, armor, and virtually anything else. On a mere whim of Guild Master Barrios, Rein is abruptly banished from the guild.
After being banished, Rein decides to deactivate every single “Enhancement Point” he had previously bestowed upon his former guildmates’ gear. Armed with those reclaimed points, he resolves to start over and enjoy a “second life” as an adventurer on his own terms.
While searching for a new home, Rein crosses paths with the receptionist Nina and the Guild Master Elsie, eventually joining the Adventurers Guild “Blue Crystal.” It isn’t long before Rein is sent on a high-stakes Dragon hunt alongside Lily, an S-Rank adventurer and fellow member of “Blue Crystal”—but things might not go exactly as planned…!?

Synopsis
Rein, an enchanter, is suddenly expelled from his guild one day. Instead of falling into despair, he thinks, “Now I can do anything!” He reclaims the massive amount of “Enhancement Points” he had previously bestowed upon his former guildmates’ gear and sets out on a brand-new path as an independent adventurer.
Gathering around him are those with deep scars: a genius Adventurer who lost her entire party, a Warrior whose family was taken, and an assassin raised only to kill. Yet, Rein never denies their pasts or their wounds; he accepts them with straightforward, bright optimism.
The stage is set in a highly unconventional fantasy world where Uzis, pachinko machines, and even the Yakuza exist. In this world, relying on convenient technology causes one’s magical power to drop, making Adventurers weaker.
Vicious monsters with human intelligence roam the land, while outlaws in the underworld weave schemes fueled by ambition and greed. In a world where ideals and justice are easily crushed, Adventurers fight using only their magic and their convictions.
This is a story of those who lost their place in the world finding a new way to live. Rein and his companions’ wild, free-spirited second life begins now!
