Asian Games: Gurung from flood-hit Nepal misses out on karate bronze

NAGOYA - Arika Gurung from flood-hit Nepal competed in the women's karate kumite at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games but fell short of a bronze medal.

The 22-year-old Gurung, a silver medalist at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, shed tears after losing in the women's 68-kilogram division on Sunday.
