Trump to meet with Japan PM in N.Y. on Tuesday: U.S. envoy to U.N.

U.S. President Donald Trump will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Tuesday in New York, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz said.

Waltz announced the schedule during a press briefing on Friday. Trump's talks with Takaichi, to be held on the sidelines of this year's U.N. General Assembly, will take place two days before he meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House.
