Southampton's Matsuki among 4 new faces as Moriyasu names 31-man Japan squad

CHIBA, Japan - Southampton midfielder Kuryu Matsuki was one of the four new call-ups for Japan as manager Hajime Moriyasu announced his 31-man squad on Thursday for four home international matches through early October.

Yokohama F Marinos forward Kaina Tanimura, versatile Shuto Nakano of Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Westerlo attacker Shunsuke Saito also received their first call-ups for the games starting against Uruguay, who are newly managed by Diego Forlan, next Thursday in Sendai.
