TOKYO - Ride-hailing app operator Go Inc., Waymo LLC, the self-driving vehicle unit of Google parent Alphabet Inc., and Nihon Kotsu Co. said Tuesday that they aim to launch Japan's first fully driverless taxi service in Tokyo in 2027.
The three companies plan to gradually introduce about 100 autonomous taxis.
