TOKYO - U.S. electric vehicle maker Tesla Inc. on Friday unveiled the Cybercab, its purpose-built autonomous robotaxi, in Tokyo's Aoyama district, marking the vehicle's first public showing in Japan.
The two-seat vehicle has no steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal, enabling fully driverless operation. It features upward-opening butterfly doors, a large trunk and a large touchscreen.
