TOKYO - Bullet train services linking Tokyo and western Japan resumed on Tuesday after being partially suspended due to heavy rain, railway operator JR Central said.
The service on the Tokaido Shinkansen Line fully resumed by around 5:15 p.m., it said.
The Japan Meteorological Agency on the same day called on the public to be alert to the risk of landslides and flooding as heavy rain is expected from western to northeastern Japan through Thursday.
