Synopsis
Disaster strikes when a sudden earthquake renders Kazuya’s apartment building strictly off-limits. To make matters worse, his childhood bedroom at his parents' house has already been rented out to boarders. Left essentially homeless and completely broke, Kazuya is forced to scramble for a new place to live.
Meanwhile, Chizuru eats dinner alone at her family home, where the crushing weight of her solitude begins to press down on her.
Sensing Kazuya’s distress, Mini invites him to an izakaya to catch up. Overwhelmed by the fear that losing his apartment means losing his chance to see Chizuru, Kazuya breaks down in tears, drunkenly pouring his heart out about his true feelings for her. Seeing him in such a pathetic yet earnest state, Mini snaps a photo of the intoxicated Kazuya and sends it to Chizuru. To Mini’s absolute shock, the reply comes back instantly:
