Baseball: Sasaki no decision, Ohtani struggles as Dodgers fall to Giants

LOS ANGELES - Roki Sasaki allowed three runs over five-plus innings and Shohei Ohtani continued to struggle offensively as the Los Angeles Dodgers were beaten 9-3 by the San Francisco Giants in the first meeting of their four-game series on Monday.

Ohtani, who has not hit a home run since April 26, made a rare batting practice appearance on the field at Dodger Stadium in an apparent bid to break out of his slump, but finished 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
