LOS ANGELES - Two-way star Shohei Ohtani was tagged with his first loss of the season Tuesday in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 2-1 defeat against the Miami Marlins, still leading the majors with his 0.60 ERA after his fifth straight quality start.
Solely pitching on the night at Dodger Stadium, Ohtani (2-1) struck out nine while allowing two runs, one earned, on five hits over six innings in a 104-pitch effort, throwing the most pitches since his Sept. 2023 right elbow surgery.
