CHICAGO - Munetaka Murakami blasted his 12th homer of the season to take the sole Major League Baseball lead and propel the Chicago White Sox to an 8-7 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Monday.
Murakami belted a go-ahead three-run shot to right-center field in the bottom of the seventh inning at Rate Field, giving the White Sox a 7-5 lead. The 26-year-old rookie went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.
