The International Monetary Fund's policy-setting committee dropped Saturday previous language calling for resisting "all forms of protectionism," despite concerns among policymakers about "inward-looking" policies that could hurt economic growth.After a two-day meeting, the 24-member panel said it is "working to strengthen the contribution of trade to our economies."
