Closer Dennis Sarfate completed an impressive postseason award haul on Monday, when he was named the Pacific League's Most Valuable Player.The 36-year-old Sarfate, who saved a record 54 games for the SoftBank Hawks, was also the Japan Series MVP and the unexpected winner of the Shoriki Award. Center fielder Yoshihiro Maru of the Central League champion Hiroshima Carp was voted CL MVP.
