Tokyo stocks end historic rally as investors lock in gains

Tokyo stocks fell Wednesday as investors locked in gains after the Nikkei marked its longest winning streak the previous day.The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 97.55 points, or 0.45 percent, from Tuesday at 21,707.62, bringing an end to its advance that lasted 16 days.
