Panda cub at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo reaches 80 days old

A giant panda, born at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo, reached 80 days old on Thursday, and underwent an examination to check if her teeth are developing.The panda has been growing healthily and steadily since her birth on June 12, 2017.The cub had its upper jaw examined to see if her teeth had started to show yet. It was expected that they would appear soon. The as-yet-unnamed panda was born to mother Shin Shin and father Ri Ri, as the first giant panda born at the Ueno zoo since 2012.The winner of a contest to name the cub will be announced in mid-September.READ FULL ARTICLE
