Search and rescue work continues in China's quake-hit Sichuan

The search for missing people and rescue of stranded residents and tourists continued Thursday following the powerful earthquake that hit a popular scenic spot of southwestern China's Sichuan Province, the local government said.Twenty people have been confirmed dead while the number of injured has risen to 431, including 15 critically injured, according to local authorities.The quake, which struck Jiuzhaigou County at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, had a magnitude of 6.5, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
