Japan to recommend Jomon Era sites for World Heritage designation

The Japanese government decided Thursday to recommend the Jomon Era archaeological sites in northern Japan as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage candidate for 2021.Tokyo will submit its formal recommendations to the U.N.
