Heavy rain forecast for Japan as repair work from typhoon continues

TOKYO - Japan's weather agency warned Friday of a possible secondary disaster in wide areas of the country already flooded by Typhoon Hagibis, as heavy downpours were forecast to hit over the weekend while recovery efforts continue.The typhoon claimed the lives of at least 79 people, left some 2,400 homes heavily damaged or destroyed and inundated at least 25,000 hectares on the country's main island of Honshu, according to government data.Of the 66 victims whose ages are known, 49 were over 60 years old.
