China warns N. Korea of sanctions in event of nuclear test: paper

China has warned North Korea it will impose unilateral sanctions if Pyongyang conducts another nuclear test or engages in other provocative actions, a major South Korean newspaper reported Wednesday.The Chosun Ilbo, quoting a South Korean government source, said China conveyed the warning shortly after a summit last week between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping in the United States.The daily said Wu Dawei, China's special representative for Korean Peninsula affairs, informed South Korea on Monday about the warning.
