A series of emergency landings involving U.S. Marine Corps Osprey aircraft and fighter jets were reported Tuesday on an island in the southern prefecture of Okinawa and in northeastern Japan, the Japanese Defense Ministry's regional bureaus said Wednesday.No injuries were reported.
