Director Kawase says Cannes film fest has helped her grow

Japanese director and writer Naomi Kawase has established herself as a regular at the Cannes Film Festival, having won two major awards at the prestigious event.This year, her feature film "Hikari (Radiance)," which explores the topic of blindness, was among works competing for the Palme d'Or.
