Japanese sprinter Abdul Hakim Sani Brown set a national record with a time of 9.97 seconds in the men's 100 meters at the NCAA Division I outdoor athletics championships on Friday.The 20-year-old Sani Brown, who finished third in the event at the University of Texas, trimmed 0.01 second from the previous mark set by Yoshihide Kiryu in September 2017.
