Golf: Mamiko Higa keeps lead at suspended 2nd round of U.S. Women's Open

Japan's Mamiko Higa carded an even-par 71 to maintain her one-stroke lead at the U.S. Women's Open on Friday before play was suspended for bad weather during the second round.Higa had four birdies and four bogeys at the Country Club of Charleston before play was eventually halted because of poor light, with 45 golfers yet to finish their rounds.American Jessica Korda is one shot behind Higa after recording a bogey-free 68, followed by her compatriot Gina Kim at 4-under.
