Two-way star Shohei Ohtani, who is recovering from an elbow surgery he underwent last October, took batting practice on the field, the Los Angeles Angels said Thursday.According to the club, the 24-year-old Japanese, who was named the 2018 American League Rookie of the Year, progressed in his rehab when he hit on the field at Angel Stadium on Wednesday.
