TOKYO - A luxury watch worth an estimated 46 million yen ($291,000) was stolen from a shop in Tokyo's Nakano Ward on Thursday, police said, after a similar theft occurred in the same shopping complex in August.

Police received an emergency call at around 8 p.m. reporting that a person posing as a customer had made off wearing a timepiece. The suspect in dark clothes had been at the store for less than 10 minutes, they said, adding the watch was a Swiss-made Audemars Piguet.

The shop is on the third floor of the Nakano Broadway complex. Two Chilean men are accused of stealing four luxury watches worth 200 million yen from a first-floor shop of the complex in late August.
