Episode 3: “Since We’re Served Rabbit-Shaped Apples When I Accompanied My Friend to Apologize for Her Two-Year Hibernation, I Guess That Means We’re Cool Now.”
Synopsis
“You abandoned my sister and ran away, didn’t you?”
Upon returning to town, Rein and Lily cross paths with Margaret, an adventurer from the Emperor’s Shields guild. Margaret is family to the adventurer who died during the ill-fated Gadoleza quest—the very mission that left Lily unable to fight.
Two years ago, Lily’s party, including Margaret’s sister, attempted to conquer the Radiant Dragon Ruins in search of the legendary sword Refaide. The mission ended in disaster; Margaret’s sister and the rest of the party perished, leaving Lily as the sole survivor, returned with no memories of the event—only a paralyzing, deep-seated terror.
Determined to uncover the truth of that day, Lily decides to face Gadoleza once more with Rein by her side. Margaret, fueled by a burning hatred for the woman she believes left her friends to die, demands to join the party… but what truth awaits them in the depths of the ruins?

Synopsis
Rein, an enchanter, is suddenly expelled from his guild one day. But instead of despairing, he declares, “Now I can do anything!” and begins reclaiming the massive number of enhancement points he once poured into his guildmates’ gear, setting off on a brand-new path as an adventurer.
Gathering around him are people carrying wounds that don’t fade easily: a genius adventurer who shut her heart after her party was slaughtered, a warrior who lost her family, and an assassin raised from childhood to kill. Yet Rein never rejects their pasts or their scars—he accepts them all with bright, straightforward warmth.
The stage is a unique fantasy world where Uzis, slingshots, and even yakuza exist side by side. But in this world, the more people rely on convenient technology, the more their magic weakens, and adventurers grow fragile.
Intelligent, vicious monsters roam freely, while in the underworld, outlaws bare their greed and ambition as schemes and betrayals intertwine. In a world where ideals and justice are easily crushed, adventurers fight on with nothing but their magic and their convictions.
This is the story of those who have lost their place in the world finding a new way to live. Rein and his companions’ wild, free-spirited second life begins now!
