Two cars collided near the Japanese Foreign Ministry building in Tokyo on Thursday afternoon, injuring four people, none of them seriously, according to police.
One of the vehicles had a Russian diplomatic license plate and it collided with another car after leaving the ministry premises, they said. A Russian woman in her 30s was the only one in the vehicle, while three people were in the other car.
The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on a straight section of road with four lanes in each direction in front of the Foreign Ministry.
The car with three people had driven onto the center divider and debris from the vehicles was seen scattered at the accident site.
