TOKYO - Subway operator Tokyo Metro Co. said Sunday that about 59,000 email addresses of its rewards program members may have been compromised due to unauthorized access to its server.
The breached server does not store any other personal information and its vulnerability has already been addressed, the company said.
The company discovered the unauthorized access, believed to have originated overseas, during its investigation of email delivery errors that occurred on Sept. 20, it said.
